The Canberra Bridge Club

The Canberra Bridge Club (CBC) is an incorporated association which offers members a friendly, supportive environment in which to play bridge. It is the largest bridge club in the ACT, with some 700 members, and owns its own premises in Deakin. The club offers bridge sessions for all levels of expertise, including beginners, improvers, intermediate and also for those who compete at a national level. A number of beginners courses are offered throughout the year which are suitable for those who have never before played cards, as well as for those who have some experience with card games such as whist, 500 and euchre.

The day to day management of the club is undertaken by our efficient and friendly managers and all bridge sessions are run by qualified directors.

The club has an elected committee which has responsibility for bridge administration and associated social activities.

Regional and interstate visitors, and non-club members are welcome to play at all walk-in sessions, but should contact the manager if they wish to play on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, as many of these are multi-session events with pre-entry a requirement..
