Lessons

We offer lessons for all levels.

  • Beginners lessons
    • Suitable for those who have never played bridge or have very limited experience with the game, these lessons introduce bridge from the very beginning.
  • Fundamental lessons
    • For those who know the basics of bridge but are not yet ready to play a social game of bridge, our  8-week foundation course will cover what you need. This course may be suitable for people returning to bridge after a long break.
  • Supervised play
    • Suitable for those who have completed a beginners course or have equivalent knowledge, Supervised play involves a short lesson, followed by time for you to play bridge with a teacher in attendance to help you, every week.
  • Refresher course
    • Suitable for people who have gone through the Supervised program, or social players or people returning to bridge after a break who want to refresh or update their skills. These lessons assume a higher level of knowledge than those in the supervised program.
  • Skills development workshops
    • Suitable for regular duplicate players who want to hone their bridge skills, these lessons will extend your understanding of bidding and play.
  • Online Lessons
    • Suitable for beginners to improving players.
You can attend on the day, or watch at your convenience. The lessons have practice hands and many topics/conventions to choose from which can be revised by watching again and again.
    Intermediate Lessons
    • Did you know that we provide two free lessons each week aimed at beginner/intermediate/developing players? Even if you’ve been playing for years, we all have gaps in our knowledge or things we used to know but have since forgotten. The lessons are usually written and delivered by Steve Geddes and are free to download via the link above.
