Pianola
Pianola is the principal club management tool used by the Canberra Bridge Club. The Club uses Pianola to send out targeted emails, the newsletter, and membership renewals, and to assist in many other administration tasks.
Pianola is very useful to club members. You can use Pianola:
- To look up results: Results history is provided for each session you played, and your results are analysed over time.
- As a Learning Tool: Pianola provides an excellent service for players wishing to review their declarer play and defence. From the results history, you can select hands to re-play. One or more hands can be re-played once or many times, providing useful learning for you.
- As a Partner Finder: You can see who is looking for a partner, and you can also ask for a partner for a session or many sessions.
- For Easy access to other Club Members: Your contact details can be shared with your bridge partners and the wider CBC bridge community.

- How do I get a Pianola login? New members are emailed an invitation to join Pianola. If you did not join Pianola when you first joined CBC, email

- Is my information safe? Your information is safe and secure on Pianola. It Is "locked" and can only be accessed via your personal username and password.
- How do I update my details? You can find your account information by pressing on your name on the top RH corner of the screen. Your account includes your personal information; details of your bridge system; details of the information you would like to share with other members, and your communication preferences. Please review and update as needed.
- What information is shared with other members? It is your choice. We recommend you share your phone number and email address. This allows other members to get in touch if they would like to have a game with you.
- Will I receive emails from the club? It is your choice. You can specify your choice in the Communications tab in your account.
- I would like to get in touch with another member. How do I do this? Go to the tab called Members, at the top of the screen. Type in the name of the member. You will be provided with their phone number and email address, except where the member has decided not to share this information.
- I want to find a partner. How do I do this? You can ask the Managers, or you can post an advert in Pianola under the Partner finder tab at the top of the screen.
