Special Events at CBC

As well as regular sessions and competitions, we have a number of special events and a mentoring program:

• Weekend competitions
  • A wide variety of face to face events are held, for all levels. They range from the Novice championships, Teams of Three, through to state championship and selection events. Calendar for Weekend competitions isregularly updated.
• Australia-wide Open Pairs
  • The Australia-Wide Open Pairs has a rich history that goes back more than 40 years, bringing together thousands of players from all around the country. 28 August 7:15pm
• Canberra in Bloom
  • Held over a weekend in September/October, this is Canberra’s own national gold point event. It has competitions for all levels of players.
• Mentoring in May
  • Partner one of the more experienced members in duplicate sessions. After the session, discussing the hands introduces new bridge concepts, provides great tips and widens possibilities. This event is held in May of each year.
