Canberra Bridge Club Membership
If you are going to play more than just occasionally at the Club, become a member!
The benefits of membership are:
- Members' rates for bridge sessions
- Participation in Club social activities
- Voting rights at general meetings of CBC members
- Affiliation to the Australian Bridge Federation
- Affiliation to the Bridge Federation of the ACT
Memberships
We have the following types of membership:
- Full members
- Concession members, who are holders of a disability support or age pension
- Distance members, who reside permanently more than 80kms from the Canberra GPO
- Youth members, who are under 26
Joining fee
There is a joining fee for all new memberships and reactivations.
- Ordinary: $15
- Concession and Distance: $5
- Youth: Free
2026 Yearly fees
Membership goes from 1 January to 31 December each year.

Full member
o Full year $105 ($90 + $15)
o Half year from 1st July $59 ($44+ $15)
Concession member
o Full year $49 ($44 + $5)
o Half year from 1st July $38 ($33 + $5)
Distance member
o Full year $49 ($44 + $5)
o Half year from 1st July $38 ($33 + $5)
Youth member (under 26 at 1 Jan)
o Free $0
Non Home (Away) member with active ABF number
Full Member
o Full Year $78 ($63 + $15)
o Half Year $48 ($33 + $15)
Concession Member / Distance Member
o Full or Half Year $22 ($17 + $5)
Away members are those who are already members of another ABF-affiliated club.
If a new member joins after 1 October, the annual fee will cover membership until 31 December of the following year.

Payment of fees
Membership fees can be paid by cash, cheque or direct deposit. Alternatively if you have a myABF account we can also charge you through Bridge Credits. The Club does not have credit card or EFTPOS facilities.
