Supervised play
Every week, Supervised play includes a short lesson, and then a chance to play bridge with a teacher in attendance to answer your questions as you go.
If you have recently completed a beginners course, we recommend supervised play as your next step. Supervised play is also suitable if you have not done beginner lessons but have equivalent knowledge, and feel that you still need a lot of guidance.
Supervised play is available in daytimes and in evenings. You can come with a partner, or on your own.
Day | Time |
---|---|
Wednesday evening | 7:00 - 10:00 pm |
Friday morning | 9:30 am - 12:30 pm |
Prior to play, a teacher will conduct a 20 minute lesson. The lesson will be followed by duplicate play, in a special Supervised section where help will be available to you throughout the bidding and play.
The supervised program runs all year. The lessons cover a wide range of topics (here is the schedule of topics for 2024). Topics for Wednesday evening and Friday morning lessons are identical. Feel free to come to either or both sessions.
The cost for attending the whole session (the lesson and the supervised duplicate) is normal Table fees. The cost for only attending the lesson is $8. If you are only able to attend the lesson, please advise the teacher.
